This is going to be my review of Fender Mustang Amps – they are kinda my favorite amplifiers, as well. Do remember that there are other amplifiers that are worth mentioning, too, and in the end, it all just comes down to personal preferences.
Fender Mustang

They are good amplifiers. No one can argue with that. You have a selection of multiple series – Fender Mustang I, Fender Mustang II, Fender Mustang III, Fender Mustang IV and Fender Mustang V. The differences are in the features.

Mustang I is a 20-watt amplifier, and is the cheapest out of this whole family. You can find it on Amazon. (They are also the most popular amplifiers there.)

The other Mustangs are more expensive, but are good, of course. Mustang III is probably the beastest out of the beasts there, and I would recommend anyone who has enough money to get it.

The features and differences of Mustangs are listed on the official website of Fender – for those who are interested. It is a pretty comprehensive list. (Damn, I’m lazy today – will update this post later and add more info on the specifics of each models later, for sure. Sorry)

As for where to buy them all – easy. Amazon, again. They have quite a nice selection of Fender Mustang amplifiers.

Let’s talk about Squier telecasters now, and cover a few things you may be interested in knowing. Okay, a little bit of history first – when I was in a school, I was very interested in the works of such rock bands like Pink Floyd, as they were very popular at that time with my friends.

Of course, I vividly remember Syd playing a guitar that had very memorable and cool outlook, but at that time I knew nothing about musical instrumetns, so the words tele and strato, which were thrown at me by my bro who was like a madman when it came to guitars, didn’t really mean to me anything.

On the other hand, I did learn by heart that these words meant something COOL in the world of guitar players.

Squier Telecaster vs Stratocaster

I’d say, and people should agree with me, that both of them are the kinda similar in what they can do, in the sense that I wouldn’t necessarily say that tele is better than strato. Both can be used to play jazz, blues, metal, rock – you name it. Telecaster might have a better tone for country music, though.

Squier telecasters are made basically the same as Fender Telecasters, and they have also been improving the quality of their guitars over the last 5 years. So you get a pretty decent starter instrument, if you do go for a Squier Telecaster. If you get a starter pack – all the better.

Which Model To Go For?

Well, I’d say that the Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster is probably the best out of the whole series of Squier Telecasters, but what do I know? : ) Basically, the advantage is that

You may still consider getting the Affiinity Series, though.

Here are the models in of Squier Telecaster that are currently known to the world of music:

Squier Affinity Telecaster, Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster, and Squier Vintage Modified.

Classic vibe and Vintage Modified are the most expensive models, but they are liked by many guitar players. The prices on Amazon fluctuate, but you should Find Squier Classic Vibe for around 599 bucks, and Squier Vintage for around 399 bucks. It depends on where you buy them from.

The Affinity series is a bit different, but you still get great tone, good hardware and the simplicity of a tele. It is constructed a bit differently (the neck) than a Classic Vibe and feels more like a Strat in this way. The playability is definitely on the high level, and should suit beginners a lot.

So, if you can afford it … get Squier Classic Vibe or Vintage Modified – they are in my opinion, the best. The Affinity is fine, too, and is actually the most popular out of the three I listed. As for where to buy it from … try Amazon, for example! Do it now.

Click Here To See The Full Selection Of Squier Telecasters

We see that you are interested in cheap acoustic guitars. It is normal to hunt for these guitars when you are just a beginner, or you are just testing out the waters, so to speak – when I was starting out, the guitar I bought wasn’t too expensive.

I think it was about 100 bucks or so. Of course, it is a terrible guitar, but at that time I didn’t know. And I loved it while I was playing it, so who cares.

Ok, about recommending cheap acousting guitars for YOU now…

How Cheap We Are Talking About?

In any case, in this article I will be reviewing or rather presenting you with a few acoustic guitars that can be considered as incredibly cheap. Needless to say, there are definitely much better guitars by the way I tried to narrow down the choice to those instruments that were approximately or below $200. For those people who don’t mind spending $300 and above, we recommend checking out Seagull S6 and Yamaha FG700s.

Okay, here are the inexpensive acoustic guitars that we would recommend

Jasmine By Takamine S34 Nex Single-Cutaway Acoustic Guitar (More Expensive)

This is probably one that we would recommend even for those who were looking for $300+ guitars. It really is not a deal, but a STEAL.

Rating: ★★★★½

Pros

A bit more expensive, but incredible quality. Some people have commented that the guitar can contest with more expensive Martins even. It is literally a STEAL considering the quality of sound, although it is up to you to decide.

Again, and this can be attested by many who own Jasmine S34, the sound is amazing for the price. Way above what you would expect.

Reliable

Pretty, although this is dependent on your individual tastes and fine finish.

Cons

May need some tweaking with the height of the action and the strings (obviously).

Click Here To Check It Out On Amazon

Jasmine By Takamine S35 Dreadnought

Much less expensive than its S34 brother, but still made by Takamine.

Rating: ★★★★¼

Pros

Cheap as hell. And by as hell we mean AS HELL – prices range from $60 to $150.

If you are a beginner, you will be satisfied with the quality of sound; however, you will soon realise that its not as cool as a good acoustic guitar can actually sound. Can be pretty rad, though, if some of the parts are tweaked/replaced (strings, bridge, the height of the action).

A great guitar to use “as a beater”, and as such, a great guitar for those who never owned an instrument.

Doesn’t get out of tune even when played continuously or left for a long time, surprisingly. you were totally not expect that from a cheap acoustic guitar.

Great value for the price.

Cons

Needs some tweaking to reach the maximum potential

Some say it is not very durable, although those people are few. The guitar does look like it can last up to 3 years at least. Carry it around with you with no fear – it won’t crack, get scratched easily or anything.

Takamine – Japanese

That’s right, the Japanese (Takamine is a Japanese manufacturer of guitars) have been producing incredibly great entry-level guitars lately, the trend of which is continuing for all Asian manufacturers, in fact, and this Jasmine is probably one of the cheapest, yet surprisingly okay for a guitar in its price range. It receives inredible reviews on Amazon, though, so people must like it.

Rating: ★★★★¼

Features – Spruce Top, Satin Finish, Rosewood FretBoard, Dreadnought 6 strings acoustic guitar.

Price Range – Under $150 – $200. With special offers Jasmine S35 can be bought for as low as $80-$100.

You Can Buy The Guitar From Amazon

Pros

Cheap as hell. Pay attention to special offers – the prices go as low as 80 bucks sometimes. Oh, and it gets rad reviews on Amazon (4.3/5.0 stars). People must love this one!

Sounds okay. You need to apply some tweaks and modifications to it to get the most out of Jasmine S35. Use it whether for fingerpicking, strumming rythms with a pick – it works alright. Some say it is great, but it is after all an approximately $150 guitar (with the exception when there are special deals).

Pretty durable. A beater. If you are not putting the guitar into a case, just throwing it to the back of your carseat … Jasmine S35 will take it. Well, some said it is not durable, but I think those folks are not giving enough credit to this baby – it looked much tougher in the shop when I saw it than those other (which are very few) people are saying. Let’s say, it can serve you well for 2-3 years at least.

Does not get out of tune. Pretty impressive, huh.

You won’t be sad if the guitar is stolen. Well, maybe a bit nostalgic (I definitely would).

It might resell at okay price. Buy for 100 or so – sell for 80 after modifications.

Cons

Will get 4.5/5.0 from us for the playability (how easy it is to play the guitar). Action may be a bit high for some, although that is not surprising considering the price of the guitar.

To get the most out of Takamine Jasmine S35, you need to make some tweaks. In my opinion, you would need to change the bridge and the strings (of course). Also, you may consider cleaning it up although it should be a problem for those who are buying used acoustic guitars only, which is not rare in case of S35.

Still, despite my tone of review, it is a very decent entry-level guitar. All Takamines are decent, in fact, – it just comes to the price range of the instruments as that’s what the quality is dependent on. It definitely does not stand up to some of the more expensive models, like Seagull S6 or cool Martins, but hey – Takamine S35 is like … several times cheaper! A beater for a novice – ideal scenario, in my opinion.

For those who dont understand what I’m talking about … when comparing guitars you have to be careful about what the reviews say – are the guitar players intermediate/beginner/advanced level players? Depending on that, their tone towards an instrument of certain caliber will be different. A Taylor is 7 times better (well, not like “tastes” can be calculated in such precise numbers – everyone’s ears are different, but Taylor is great, no doubt!), but it also costs 7 times more.

In conclusion, if you are looking for your first guitar beater, I wouldn’t recommend such expensive purchases as the above mentioned. It might turn out that you don’t get into guitars and bam …

Click Here To See The Price On Amazon

The price for this guitar varies from place to place, but it is usually between $80 an $200, so it would qualify as a lower end cheap acoustic guitar, and as such one would expect pretty mediocre quality from such a bargain, right? far from it – it’s probably one of the best guitars in this price range, and many people actually feel that they should have bought jasmine instead of more expensive brand names, such as Martin or Gibson.

The Sound – Strumming The Highway Of Glory

This is where the Takamine Jasmine S-34C shines the best. If you were to compare the quality of the sound to other cheap acoustic guitars, the latter would not stand a chance. whether you’re playing blues mixes, jack johnson style or are into fingerpicking, this guitar will not let down.

Jasmine S34C is able to hold itself even when you are playing the most complex chords, fast or slow, and it will not produced the muddy sound that is so common when you’re picking an inexpensive acoustic guitar. The sound is bright and room filling when picking the high chords, and is warm, rich, and boomy when playing the low chords.

There is nothing tinny-sounding. I’ve played this Jasmine side-by-side with a friend playing a Martin. We didn’t sound silly together at all… this is definitely not a Wal-Mart guitar. It’s a quality instrument.

VBrook, HarmonyCentral.com

The Asian Brands Catch Up and Should Get More Exposure

Takamine is a Japanese brand of guitars makers. That’s right – Asian guitars have been impressing us with their improving quality of craftsmanship for a few years now already, and this is definitely something to keep in mind for those who are still considering to buy US counterparts.

As someone said on HarmonyCentral, if it wasn’t for the perceived value of the expensive brand names, such inexpensive guitars as Takamine would receive much greater exposure. And indeed it would.

I recommend that particular guitar to a lot of my students. It’s hard to find another guitar with the NEX body and cutaway, and that quality of construction for that price.

OnTheRock, YahooAnswers.com

Action, Finish, and Durability

This will be it an individual case, but while lacking in gloss, the finish is smooth and great. It is natural spruce/mahogany, nato back and sides, rosewood fingerboard. As for reliability and durability – it surely does look and feel durable, and we bet that the guitar will last a long time. Carry the guitar along with you, use it all you want and fear not that it will crack or break.

Rating: ★★★★½

Pros

Great Sound. Rivals more expensive Martins and other famous acoustic guitars.

Good action and finish.

Good customer service (depends on where you buy it from).

Great reliability. People use this guitar 3x a week, accidently bumping it across random objects, and the guitar has been reported to still be “as new”.

The guitar stays in tune constantly even when you are constantly using it.

Customize it, tweak it all you want.

Amazing Price For The Quality. You probably won’t find another guitar in this price range that would be just as amazing.

Cons

Sometimes, the delivery will screw up the guitar. If there are cracks on your guitar – just return it.

If you are really picky, you may want to adjust the action a bit.

Rating: ★★★★½

I actually bought it two years ago when I wanted to acquire my first acoustic guitar, and it proved to be quite good instrument for beginners, like I was. To my astonishment, it actually prove to be much better than I expected it to be. Great sound quality, great design and finish the and impressive playability.

The those who don’t know, Yamaha fg700s is a six string acoustic guitar that is primarily in low to mid price range. It is thought of as a beginner guitar, but it’s safe to say that even intermediate and advanced players benefit a lot from having this instrument in their arsenal.

Click Here To Buy From Amazon

Sound

It wouldn’t be a good Yamaha fg700s review of the it didn’t cover the quality of sound. Well, the current sound of the guitar is a little bit better than what it sounded several years ago, which is common because most solid wood guitars do not reach their full maturity of sound until several years after being played, but the initial way the Yamaha sounded the was definitely impressive – that’s the reason why we still bought it.

The biggest grip I had with most other cheap acoustic guitars, although some of them were definitely great alternatives, was sound. I wanted the guitar is that could resonate with the whole room, and impress all the people sitting in it, so I needed a guitar that could produce a very full and resounding sound. Solid Sitka spruce top and the design of the instrument really allowed for this to be achieved. Whether you want to play hard and fast paced songs or slow melodic ballads, Yamaha fg700s will deliver.

Playability

This is a factor that is very important for beginners (and actually, for all levels of players, as we all want to have guitars for all purposes in occasions). Why would you (well, you wouldn’t) want an acoustic guitar that sounded great, but was very difficult to play with? It would only deter people from actually playing it (and enjoying it while playing it).

The traditional six strings design, the moderate weight and size of the neck all allow for incredible ease of play and effortless enjoyment of the process. I personally learned how to play it in just a few weeks. (The strings were nice, too, and although the fingers and it hurt a little bit, it wasn’t too bad compared to other guitars.)

Additional Features

Also, the guitar came with a great pack of manufacturer strings. Basically, full package, and while you may want to customise something, the initial package should be fine.

The Awesomeness

Of course, I also wanted to impress my neighbours and friends with the astounding guitar skills whenever I would decide to play the guitar in public.

While not the most important feature, it is still something not to neglect when choosing an instrument. You want something that you will want to keep even if for aesthetic purposes only. The Solid Sitka spruce, impressive finish and gloss and impressive shape and lining of the body, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone not to buy this guitar.

It certainly does not look like a beginner’s guitar – in fact, it is so classy you might easily want to leave it in your collection just for aesthetic purposes alone.

The Price

The price is the biggest grip for most would-be guitar players. When I started, I thought that anything that below $500 would be a big let down compared to the more expensive alternatives.

It turned out to be completely false – the guitar is rocks and you can find it for less than $300. Clearly, one of the better choices out ther on the market, as long as acoustic guitars are concerned. So

Click Here To Buy From Amazon

The cheapest electric guitar on the planet! Oh No! Can you believe in that? Would You Buy it? No, really, when you are looking for cheap electric guitars, there are a few things you would like know.

Say, anything below 50 is well… and this can be argued by many, too cheap, unless you are a pro and know how to hunt for bargains, so to speak. (getting a boy that needs all its parts to be replaced and gets trashed in seconds – no!)

If you are a total beginner, it is better if you stick to the well-recognized brands of guitars like Fender, Gibson, etc. or if you just follow the recommendations of other people – see what kind of reviews particular models of guitars receive – it is easier that way.

Of course, the brand name does not matter that much, especially if you are a beginner, because well, you just want a guitar that would play okay. Lately, for example, the lower-end Fender stuff has been noticed to be produced in China – a slap in the face to the noble brand name of Fender; and also, it is a known fact that it is possible to find a cheap guitar that will sound just as good as a more expensive one, although let’s not get into that topic, for now.

You want a guitar that would

Sound good. Believe it or not, but there are some really great sounding guitars below 500 bucks, and sometimes even below 300 bucks that can outmatch the more expensive alternatives in terms of quality of sound.

Be comfortable and easy to play. The most common complaint from someone who is starting out and trying out his cheap electric guitar is that it is not comfortable. Fingers get hurt, etc. You don’t want that to happen to you. You also want that guitar to not have all the weird things that accompany certain brands and models. No one wants a great sounding guitar that is just isn’t playable (action is too high, the neck is way too heavy) – especially if this is your first guitar as such discomfort will discourage you from acquiring mastery in this worthwhile endeavour.

Have all the accessories in it. Even if you ask a seasoned guitar player, he can only state his own opinion (and most people will differ in their opinion on what sound is good, what amplifier is good, etc.). Starter packs are usually shunned in the community, but they are quite useful and practical nonetheless.

Be cheap. Well, obviosly – the best are the cheap electric guitars for sale. Be prepared to spend at least 150 bucks on an electric guitar, though, – it is better and more reassuring that way.

You don’t want to spend a lot on a guitar if you are not even sure that you will really like, especially if it is your first guitar, so it is not necessary going after $1000 monsters like Gibson es 339 to be cool. Spending something like $150-$250 on a guitar is okay. However, the price ranges are not something you should adhere to strictly – besides, on some websites, the guitars are just hundreds bucks cheaper than normally, which skews our criteria of quality a little bit.

If you are looking for a good cheap electric guitar, we would recommend you the following models (they are really cheap, honestly):

Fender Starcaster (With an Amplifier) - Very Cheap, Recommended For Beginners

Rating: ★★★★½

Pros

Everything needed to rock it out is included in this pack. You get the 10-watt Squier amplifier, 10-foot cord and the guitar itself, of course.

It is a very well-packaged starter pack. The guitar is extremely well finished and reliable as well as the amp. The strap buttons are also great, so overall, you can easily take this pack out and not worry about having a replacement.

Overall a high quality assemble. It will last for a long time, as well. (can withstand quite a lot of physical abuse)

The chromy finish is awesome.

Perfect for rock music, blues, hard rock. The upper two pickups (the neck and neck-middle) are usually the favorite ones.

Cons

Some issues with tuners, and the guitar comes out of tune quite quickly. – just make sure to replace them. (On the other hand, that’s not a big issue for beginners. Moreover, you get to practice how to tune a guitar.)

Click Here To Buy Right Now!

Dean Playmate EVO Junior Solid Body- Very Small Guitar for People with Small Hands (And For Those Who Don’t Like Having the Amp Included)

Rating: ★★★★¼

Pros

Doesn’t have anything in it except for the guitar which means it is not a “starter pack” so you are free to choose your own amplifiers, bags, etc..

If you have small hands (Asian people, juniors) – you will thank god you chose this EVO baby.

You have to adjust the guitar settings a bit when it arrives, but once it is done correctly (action, height of the strings), the guitar should play just fine.

Overall quality wise, you may actually be impressed by how great the whole construction is. Besides,

It boasts extremely low price.

Cons

You may need to make some adjustments to it.

Doesn’t have anything in it except for the guitar .

Here, come take a cup of coffee for a moment to entertain yourself – we want to present you with the best beginner electric guitar possibly existing on the planet at the moment.

Yes, that’s right – you are going to read the review of the absolute most kick-butt piece of instrument tailored towards beginners. (Well, it certainly is popular – no idea about the best. Kinda a matter of personal opinion, I guess.)

The challenge that most beginner folks meet when they are trying to pick an electric guitar is that they don’t know much about guitars. They can’t distinguish between good tone and bad tone, they don’t know which strings are good for them and which ones are not, and most people also don’t know all the terminology of the guitars world.

While the best approach would be to go to a shopping store and have someone who is good with guitars consult with you, it is not always possible. Well, I’m not going to whine here, but I also was alone back in the days, knew no one, lalala, so several years ago I just bought my first electric guitar online.

Oh, people on the forums would recommend a lot of stuff – Ibanez, Squier Telecaster, Yamaha and many others – I just went with Fender Starcaster, the starter pack. It is still here in my room, and although I now have much better electric guitars, they are quite expensive models, and aren’t as simple as Starcaster, so I wouldn’t recommend them for beginners (or do you want to spend $2000 on a guitar? ). Okay, here goes the review.

Fender Starcaster Starter Pack.

Now, first, I, like all people who bought Starcaster, didn’t expect this guitar to have amazing sound, because it was a cheap beginner guitar, after all, but to my surprise, it the tones it produced were great.

The playability of this baby is top-notch, really, especially after you make some tweaks to it (change the tuners, the strings, etc. – usual stuff), which was very important for a beginner (at that day) like me as low playability would discourage me from learning how to play this instrument and I would never be as cool to my friends as I am right now .

Now, some people advice against buying starter packs, saying that they usually come with subpar quality instruments, and this was true to an extent true, but it seems that nowadays people are complaining less and less about it (maybe because luthiers started incorporating better quality guitars into their packs?).

The trend is definitely continuing, and many other luthiers have made changes into their starter packs.

Check out what the reviews on Amazon say about this pack:

The Benefits You Get From Buying Fender Starcaster

Everything is included and is ready to play – that means you can enjoy the instrument the moment it is delivered to your house. Just plug in all the stuff, and play it.

Headphones are included – ever wanted to play in solitute to avoid drama with your neighbors? Well, NOW you can! It is like having some kind of a silent violin, except that you are holding a guitar.

Are you a new player or maybe an intermediate who is looking to get some new guitar that would be suitable for metal and hard rock styles of music? Just look at this BC Rich Warlock – it may be JUST what you are looking for.

Quick Overview Of BC Rich Warlock Electric Guitar

Rating: ★★★★½

As you may have noticed, this guitar was not made to please everyone at once – it is only for people with good taste. If you are looking to play some jazz or blues – you may consider picking some other model (maybe something from Fender or Gibson), but if you are here because you want to look like a true MF hard-rocker – you will beat yourself up if you walk past BC Rich Warlock.

Click To Here To Buy From Amazon

The Features

As you may already have noticed, this BC Rich warlock guitar is built with a very unique body shape and is clearly geared towards metal and rock music.

For the price it asks, the quality you get is phenomenal, and the sound is compatible and sometimes even better than the sound of guitars that are $500 and more.

The Body Composition

Basically, BC Rich warlock is a type of axe shape guitar, with the bolt-on construction. It creates for a very unconventional, yet comfortable and cool design (it fits your legs nicely) and will definitely impress anyone who you will show it to. The body is made of Agathis, 45 mm thick, the fretboard is made of rosewood, the network is Marple, traditional inlays, glossy finish, black color.

By the way, we are talking about the bronze version of warlock (as you may know, there are several gradations of the series of the guitar, starting from the cheapest: Bronze, platinum, signature (and also custom-made).

The Sound

As it has been said, this guitar sounds better than most of the alternatives in the same price range, and you will definitely feel that the money you spend on it is justified. If you start off on the bridge pickup, you will get to hear its amazing “metal” sound. It’s resounding, impressive and jazzy – easily suitable for songs of Metallica, Slipknot and other heavy metal bands.

Add some aggression and you will have an incredibly good guitar for these purposes. Switch to the top, and the impressive jazzy sound is clean and penetrating. You can also play warlock on the clean mode. The top mode is bluesy, and it’s pleasant enough.

Looks

We’ve already covered it, but just look at the guitar if you forgot how it looks like – pretty rad instrument, isn’t it?

Comfort and Playability

No complaints about playing the guitar while sitting in one fell, as the axe shape fits very well with the shape of the legs. (You can even put the guitar between your legs in the 45 degrees up for its position, and it will still be balanced and stable.)

The only downside is that the design of the instrument makes the guitar a little bit unbalanced in its weight – their head is a bit too heavy, and if you put the strap on the instrument and try to play while standing, you might notice that there the guitar’s neck will slip and dip into the unbalance.

The Price

Two years ago you could find this guitar in Europe (that is where we first saw it) for about 170 euros. The prices have gone up, but again, there are still places where you can find pretty good bargains. We’ve recommended this to our friend, and he bought it on Amazon in September for somewhere around 193 bucks. Yes, you do need to wait a few days before the guitar is delivered, but buying from Amazon at least ensures good delivery and customer service.

Who Is This Guitar For

For the amazing price (usually around $300, sometimes discounts go to as low as $150), the quality you get is definitely phenomenal. Just do not get your hopes too high, though – it is not a braggadocio stuff that you can show off to the folks who “have all the gear, but can’t play a dear”. We would recommend this guitar for those who are of beginner levels and intermediate ones, for sure. Advanced players may find this one interesting mainly because of its unique body composition and features, possibly.

So you want to find an acoustic guitar and you are a beginner? Moreover, you only want the best acoustic guitar you can lay your hands? Well, this is what you need – the Yamaha FG700S Acoustic Guitar, the absolute best acoustic guitar for beginners.

I was actually in the similar shoes a few years ago, when I was just starting to play my guitar. Of course, at that time I didn’t know the difference between a laminate and opinion guitar, neither did I know any difference between a Yamaha or some are at the other brand guitar. (In fact, there is a little secret – it really doesn’t really matter what kind of friends you’re buying, as the most important thing is the quality of the guitar. However, a reputable brand usually delivers are more consistent level of quality, which makes those choices a safer purchase – perfect for beginners.)

In fact, even now I think that those things are absolutely irrelevant for beginners to know about, well, maybe it at least superficially. While was a little bit sceptical at first, and now I know that it was a very good choice and this opinion is backed up by thousands of other people who also bought Yamaha.

The Sound

very full sound and plays very well whether you’re trying to play a fast song or a low one. You know, when certain guitarist have problems with how they sound (squeaky noises and malfunctions in the vibrations) the more pressure on you apply to them. Well, it is not the case for Yamaha! (Surprise! Well, of course, it doesn’t mean that this piece of instrument is equivalent to some $2000 monsters, but you get the point -surprisingly great quality of instrument despite seemingly low price.)

You will be able to play almost all kinds of songs of all kinds of genres on this instrument. Not only the body size and material composition is great, but the little attention to certain details help, as well. To this day, I still hold this guitar and play it regularly, despite having “more notorious” alternatives. (If you didn’t know, acoustic guitars actually don’t sound their full potential when they first bought – the material needs to mature a little bit before the instrument’s true nature unveils.) Great blending with the environment.

And given that he can play both fast pace songs and slow pace songs without losing the sharpness and smoothness of its sound, it is logical to assume that this guitar would be great even when you’re under pressure and can’t play as aggressively as you would like. (We all have neighbours.)

Finish

While this is an individual case, the whole finish and design is superb, to say the least. Nice gloss, nice finish and very comfortable design allows for a magnificent piece of instrument that you will never get embarrassed with.

All in all, if you are looking for the best beginners acoustic guitar at affordable price, Yamaha is definitely one of the choice. See what other people say about it, and decide for yourself:

Reviews

After a good discussion of what my playing level was and where I wanted to go with my guitar experience he recommended the Yamaha FG700S as a top level entry instrument.

Immediately after picking the guitar up my playing improved, mainly due to the strings actually being close to the fret board as opposed to a few inches away. I have been playing it pretty solidly every day for the past 4 months and have really enjoyed this guitar.

And as for the price? Did you expect $500? $400?

…

…

No it’s not. The guitar is under only $300, and there are really very few from various on the market that would compete with Yamaha in the same price range and delivered same level of quality.

I personally obtained it for below $200, but the actual figures may depend on the season you’re trying to buy the guitar at. We recommend buying it from Amazon, because Amazon

usually has the best prices on almost anything (except for certain things ).
